1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of all electrical services by Hardline Electrical Pty Ltd. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with the latest version applicable to any new work commenced.
2. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Estimates are provided as a guide only and may be subject to change upon a detailed site inspection or if the scope of work alters from the initial consultation.
3. Acceptance of Work
Work will only commence once a quote has been formally accepted in writing. Acceptance constitutes a binding agreement to these terms and the quoted scope of work.
4. AS/NZS 3000 Standards Compliance
All electrical work performed by Hardline Electrical Pty Ltd strictly complies with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and all relevant Australian safety regulations. Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) will be provided where legally required.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is required within 7 days of invoice issuance unless a prior commercial account arrangement exists. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and EFT. Overdue accounts may incur a late fee of 5% per month and associated debt recovery costs.
6. 12-Month Workmanship Guarantee
We stand by the quality of our engineering. All labor and workmanship provided by Hardline Electrical Pty Ltd is backed by a 12-month guarantee. This does not cover damage caused by external factors, misuse, natural wear and tear, or third-party interference.
7. Materials and Equipment
All materials supplied remain the property of Hardline Electrical Pty Ltd until full payment is received. Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed parts and hardware. Any defects in parts are subject to the respective manufacturer's warranty process.
8. Site Access and Conditions
The client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the site for the duration of the scheduled work. Any delays caused by restricted access, hazardous site conditions, or failure to clear the work area may result in additional charges.
9. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee or a charge equivalent to one hour of labor.
10. Limitation of Liability
While every precaution is taken, Hardline Electrical Pty Ltd is not liable for pre-existing faults, hidden structural issues, or consequential loss arising from the provision of our services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Emergency Call-Out Rates
Services requested outside of standard operating hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) will be subject to emergency call-out rates. These rates will be communicated and agreed upon prior to dispatch.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the applicable State or Territory in Australia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
